Stay & Relax

Guest Bedrooms
Ceol Mor Bed and Breakfast has three guest bedrooms, each named after local rivers famed for their salmon fishing in Scotland. Cassley as pictured above is a king size double bedded room with private bathroom and overlooks the Kyle of Sutherland. Carron is an en suite king sized double bedded room which has a garden view and Oykel is twin bedded, with views over the Kyle of Sutherland. All rooms are furnished with comfortable chairs and tea/coffee making facilities.

Guest Sitting Room
Our sitting room is for the exclusive use of our guests and as well as ample, comfortable seating there is a television and a small library with a variety of novels and games to enhance your stay with us. Should the evenings become a little chilly while you are with us, our Morso wood burner will be lit to keep you warm!

Guest Sun Room
Adjoining the sitting room, our sun room has wonderful views South, East and West. This room is a lovely space to sit quietly and read or to admire the Kyle of Sutherland which flows past us both ways! Just over the brow of the hill to the east is Carbisdale Castle and behind that Struie Hill and to the west on a clear day Cul Mor’s peak in Assynt is visible. The sun room is stocked with a wealth of local information and maps which you are welcome to borrow during your stay.

Wildlife
Pine Marten are regular visitors to us at Ceol Mor. Although we have seen them during the day time checking out the bird table, this video was shot using a night camera on the lawn outside the sitting-room. We left out a few tasty morsels, peanut butter and jam sandwiches on this occasion but they […]

Spring is an excellent time to visit
April and May can be warm months often “midge free” and often “car free”! The countryside literally bursts into life with gorse and broom forming yellow carpets on the hillside. Bird watching can occupy the odd hour with all our foreign wildlife arriving from Osprey to Cuckoo. We love this time of year at Ceol […]
Our stay
Thank you for your warm hospitality. We have loved our stay here, the location and accommodation are amazing and you gave us a very warm welcome. We would definitely return. Thank you.
A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. Sarah and Peter so very welcoming. The views were outstanding. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer.
Thank you for a perfect stay in this beautiful location. Perfect hosts! We would love to come again.
Everything was just perfect – from your lovely home, so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, to the lovely tea and cake served in the sun in the back garden. And Sarah and Peter are such friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was sensational. Don’t miss the Cassley Falls and salmon leaping.
We planned a last minute, weekend away from the city. Our intentions were to only visit Dunrobin Castle and visit a west coast beach, so we found this lovely quaint B&B. Both Peter and Sarah have done a wonderful job with our stay and recommendations. The breakfasts are amazing!
What a fabulous and enjoyable stay we have had. Perfect hosts and do hope to return next Spring with friends.
Breakfast was delicious after a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed.
The welcome, the room, the views, the peace, the walks, the whole breakfast (especially the porridge) were just outstanding. We are already planning our return in 2018
When I walked into the lounge and sun room where guests can sit my first words were ‘wow!’ The views are beautiful.
Myself and Alex had a wonderful stay with you, it was a perfect and fantastic way to end our Highland trip. We will definitely be spreading the word about Ceol Mor to friends and family and I know we both hope to return ourselves in the near future.
Peter and Sarah were perfect hosts. This is the best B&B we have stayed in. Surroundings, hosts, breakfast and accommodation were all perfect.
